UK table should not be changed and incase it slipped your notice you can pot into the middle pockets from almost any angle depending on spin and speed if you are good enough

There's another player against it being changed.

I'm afraid I completely disagree with this. Personally I would prefer it to be changed back to how it was when funkypool started, when I had more fun playing (not that it's bad now) and it was, I believe, more challenging to clear the table. Some people may see this as a step back, but it was so good!
Don't expect it to happen, but I'd be disappointed if it was changed again as others have suggested. As many people have said, it offers a different game and a different strategy to the US games. I suppose a possibility could be introducing a Pro UK table, like when 9 ball was released, while keeping the old table as well. That's my take on it, anyway. Cheers

What?
That doesn't make sense. You said you would prefer if it was changed back, then you said you would be dissappointed if it did get changed....???
Make up your mind.

It did make sense, but I think you just misinterpreted it. Perhaps it could have been worded better, so I edited it a little.

I suggested that back a page or 2, and i think that would be the only way to keep everyone happy, but either way im not a fan of UK, but should not be changed at all.

Thats how it is now.
The actual playing area of the table has never changed since long before funkypool started. Recently the graphics around the outside were updated, and scalablity increased, but the dimensions remain the same.

Hmmm...
Looks like PASP is a lost cause.
damee... I like your idea about a pro u.k. table.
A small change though, only one shot on the black.
Who thinks the idea is a posibility?
And who's this Squeezy character?

One shot on black? Naaaaaaaah. Leave it as it is for consistency's sake across an entire frame of UK 8 ball. Plus, the two shots rule that UK 8 ball has in any situation is a pretty powerful deterrent against and punishment for fouls. Nobody on the black wants to see their opponent do something reckless with 5 or 6 or 7 balls on the table and not be able to put him/her away as is right.

Yeah, you're right about the graphics. But the game did play differently before and I liked that version. Just my opinion anyway.

Well don't leave the white in a place for that to happen then, problem solved.
Thats the beauty of the UK table.
Plus stop moaning about the GB's, they don't occur as often as you make them out to be, if you look on the GB table for 8UK, its not people have 1,000's, the highest user has 134, which i think shows they aint as frequent as you may suggest.

Ah well, I'm seriously chuffed when I get a GB, so don't take that bit of pride away from me!

I know, same here. I got my first GB other day and was well happy. Its not easy to get at all.

Way back at the dawn of time, before the racks were randomised, a user discovered the "GB shot", which worked an extremely high percentage of the time, which is why you may remember older users having excessive GB stats.
All fixed now
