I know we've all come across the people who just whack the balls and hope for the best. Was wondering what anyone thought about a system where you click the pocket you are trying to pot in and an arrow appears or some other notification, if you don't pot in the pocket then your opponent gets ball in hand or some other type of penalty, if you pot the black in the wrong pocket you automatically lose.

Yeah been talked about briefly before, but not for a while! I'm completely with you on this one, gets quite frustrating, especially in 9 ball, when people just whack the balls around and fluke combos and what not. Good shout idiot

I think this is a bad idea.
This game is all about luck and if you take that out of the game then it wont be funky no more will it.
Some people rely on skill, and other people rely on luck, but taking luck out of the game would completely spoil it.
Sorry but im against this idea.

Would be good to have as an option for games - if you want to play under those conditions you can and if you don't want to then simply don't join that game.
I personally would like to have more variety in the types of game available to play so would certainly use it sometimes.

why not as an option? there are pool games where you call pockets.
In snooker you dont call pockets at all actually - you call the colour if that is what you mean - and if that is what you mean then obviously yes it would be good, although the fact that something so basic and integral to the game of snooker has not been introduced already makes me think it might not be that easy to do.

Yeh i agree, if there could be a option if you want to include this into your game or not, then i suppose everyone would be happy
