I love the new scheme, but wish we had another version of it with black text background

i'd like a lighter background with bold black typing , not being picky or anything just saying what i'd like lol x x

There's no reason to revert back to the older Java version though - newer Java versions can show this layout plus all the same layouts as before.

Not sure what's to elaborate really... I was just referring to the new scheme would been even better (imo) with black chat background rather than gray.

Got nimbus now and is looking very nice and cool.

Before the major update, a spectator would see a Play button after a game ended (I believe). This isn't there any more, and a spectator has to go into the game menu and join as a player that way. Can this be amended? Thanks

The play button only appears when in practice mode, ie if there's a game ongoing already it does not show. It also will not show in tournament rooms.

It should be exactly the same as before - if you can join the game through the room options the play button should be shown. Can you give me a full scenario and I'll test it out?

Yes. I was watching a game of killer, and an opponent had left the room before it was finished, meaning there would be a free space when it ended. The game ended, and no play button appeared. Moments later, someone else joined and the chance was lost.

On killer you can only join at the end of the game (even if there may be spaces before the end).

However it's possible that the person joined the room very quickly - if your unlucky or your internet was slightly slow this may occur.

Has anyone noticed a dramatic increase of lag in the past few days? I seem to be lagging very frequently, and i never had that problem before a few days ago. I used to be able to run several programs at once (Limewire, WLM, YIM, ITunes, etc..) but now it seems i can barely log into the game window without major lag. I don't think it's a computer-related issue because we haven't changed a thing with the computer settings in months. I could be wrong. I am not a computer whiz like Spinner


If it is just computer related, please move this to the right thread. I just thought you would like to know in case it is a problem with the sever/system.

Are you talking about lag as in "chuggy" ball animation, or lag as in connection drop-outs/delays?

i dont know if its just me , but im missing tourneys , i play without the sound on cos the clicking gets on my nerves so i miss the boing alert and i feel the tourney join link could be bolder , specially as i was in later stages of 9 ball and wasnt fully concentrating on the chat bar , i might be just a bit dopey but i feel it could be bolder ?? thanks

Do you suppress player entry and exit messages? If you do that the chat scrolls much slower, less chance of missing something important.

Is FP going back in time?
