Thats why I think there needs to be a rule on this. It would be hard to enforce - but once a player has commited themselves to a clan for a season, they either stick with them or dont play at all.
We have this rule already
As soon as you have commited yourself by being in the final squad list on deadline day, you are in that clan for the season
Until then, all's fair in love and war, I think its exciting, I might poach one of your players on deadline day for a laugh

LOL - So there's nothing in the rules after all about changing clans, until deadline day when the final list is formulated? So why the hell did the guys in this thread (one of them - a moderator I might add), have such a go at me with their cheap insulting remarks?

There's a difference between verbally commiting to a clan 5 days before the deadline and being on the squad list after the deadline though. I think what flumpy was suggesting was introducing an enforcable way of tying a player to a clan once they agree to be a part of it, be it whether that agreement is one day before the deadline or 3 weeks before that deadline. This way a player won't be on a constant cycle of being in and out of different clan captains plans 2 days before finalised squad lists are handed in.

Yes I see your point mate. it's just the way I was told in this thread. That's my point, with name calling and insults. I've never even been in a clan, so I don't think being in a constant cycle of different clans applies to me either. I intend to stick with the warriors, for the whole season, and it was always my intention to only play for one clan in one season anyway.

i a a firm believer that if someone needs to be "outed" for something they have done on the game then a name and shame thread should be started!!!!! - not funkypool's view though

its a waiting list, not an argument corner. Like I said, I am sorry for any remarks that may have been taken the wrong way.
You do have to realise that you still said yes to us, and you you made our job harder.

I've just posted the following statement on blackouts thread, after reading that their captain plans to resign:
Hey guys - No way should aflumpire resign as captain. I accept I made an (honest) mistake in changing clans (for which I apologised several times), and I also accept flumpy's apology for the way he reacted.
Carry on as captain mate and lets forget about this and move on. Good luck to all at blackout for the season ahead.
