i have to agree with nick.
once you make up your mind, then stick to it!!
There is nothing worse as a captain myself to think that we have a new signing and then to find out a day or so later that they have joined another clan!!
it wastes our time as we could have been out looking for other players. its a competitive business and time is everything in this; so the more you stuff us around, the more time we lose after people chop and change.
Thats why I think there needs to be a rule on this. It would be hard to enforce - but once a player has commited themselves to a clan for a season, they either stick with them or dont play at all.
Wouldnt be good reputation for a player or a club in soccer if he signs a deal with a team, then goes to their cross town rivals three days later!! Thats exactly what this is - and its happened to us, and other clans far too many times.

I feel your pain flumpy. I think all this chopping and changing of clans is just a reflection of the ages of the people involved and there general restlessness and the fact they have not yet developed a moral backbone. People giving their word means nowt nowadays. I'd just suggest that people that are messing you around should not be given another invitation to join your fine clan, and in future you just target more well established people on the site and those that are more mature in years

What about having some kind of Gentlemans agreement, if they confirm on a forum that they are playing for a team then they have committed to that team for the following season, if they pull out of that clan for whatever reason they cant play with another team until a new season!

Gee wizz, I'm sorry for wasting your valuable time, I never realised how serious my crime was in changing my mind, before I even had pic or played a game. Not like I left halfway through the season. Do people not change clans then? Perhaps you could use a branding iron and burn the clan logo onto peoples skins, so the can never leave. Nice tone from a moderator too, setting a good example? - calling me "a 12 year old, who doesn't give a toss about anything". I care about a lot of things pal, and you don't know me at all, get a life and grow up man, it's only a game.

Cheers mate Don't worry about it, I stand my every word I say on this forum (except the bits that I end the sentence with a ). Enjoy clans lad and remember its best to stick with a clan so you get yourself a sense of identity rather than being a mercenary
