I think Adam is a brother of Nick's as well,
They were both helping at one point and then dropped out when other people joined. I guess they must be too busy to help their brother make money now, jobs of their own and all that.

Damn, just looked at their profiles. Are they single?
Oops, off topic. What was the topic again?
Only joking. Some good facts mentioned here and I am pleased with the most recent mods and admin added to the team. I think they are doing a great job on weeding through the applications and deciding whom is accepted and who is not. I am also glad and feel that it is essential that they take their time in choosing the best possible fit for the position.
Good luck to all those whom apply and wish you all the wonderful feedback your heart desires!

Are you special needs?
The people who take the time to apply care to know if they have been successful.
Pretty obvious.

Can i ask, why do you have to be over 16 if your mature enough, you can speak good english and get on with people well, and dont act childish and help around on the site....

There has to be some age limit though flapjack.
16 seems the most reasonable to me.

I'm sure its something to do with legal issues. Anyone under the age of 16 needs parental consent to take part in something like that..?
Being an under-16 mod would be similar to needing a consent form to go on a school field trip.
I imagine its something like that anyway.

I think it's just a sensible age, could you see Nick putting his site in the hands of a 14/15 year old? The majority are not mature enough.

True. With respect to a lot of the U-16's, there's a lot of young players who would not have the maturity to conduct themselves in a way expected of mods. That's not to say that every and any under-16 mod would go around swearing in the chat room and booting indiscriminately, but a line of safety has to be drawn somewhere, and 16 years of age has been decided as that line.
Let's not forget either that young players spend their days at school, their evenings at homework, and their night-times tucked up in bed at a reasonable hour. (Ideally! ) It would be irresponsible to ask a child to forgo this vital schedule in order to help moderate the site. Let the moderating be done by those with time on their hands and the wisdom of age to decide how to spend it.
