Managed to eek a draw out of iamtheworst, was 6-2 down as well with just 9ball. Still, not bad for first clan match with a sprained thumb as well which I managed to get just a few hours ago. May have hindered my power of some shots but wouldn't have made much difference had I been fully fit. He's a decent player and deserved the 8ball wins in truth. So content

Hi guys / girls,
Having just returned from a very hectic but satisfying weekend in Great Yarmouth playing pool in national finals (which we won for the fourth time)! i notice i seem to be the centre of a row?
i had asked proplayer both on your forum and in a personal message to him, to play the games before thursday. i was online every evening up to that date. In actual fact on tuesday last week i won the marathon tournament which anyone can check up on to see, does that not prove i was online and available to play?
I am willing to play the games if i am requested to do so, and would rather play and lose / win! that much can only be decided by the clan organisers.

Grats on the win jan...I was in Yarmouth last weekend (the tables were mint) for the Uni champs. I didn't do quite so well, got beat in last 16 of team event The beer was too expensive so I couldn't get to my preferred optimum blood alcohol level before the games Pint of mild - £2.80 - cheapest drink on offer

lol walker, havent you got it sussed yet! you go over the road to asda, get crates of beer for the chalets / caravans and get topped up before you go to the club! then its not so bad....and thought you uni students know that beer is more important than food at such events!

Haha, yeah some of us tried sticking beer in the soft drink cups you get from the takeaway place in the wind tunnel at the venue...drinking beer through a straw isn't nice though. Our last 16 game started at 9.30 am too I'm delicate in the mornings ....
