Although later lawman Wyatt Earp's biographer claimed that it was he that arrested the Thompson brothers, Earp actually was only present at the time, and Thompson was actually arrested by Deputy Ed Hogue.
That's what I found...

Nope, not the dative...
In a sentence:
- De Mure, qui cum fele amicitiam contrahere volebat
- The Mouse who wanted to make friends with the cat.
(De does not mean The)
- Quae cum dixisset et propius accessisset, a fele captus et dilaceratus est.
- When (the mouse) had thus spoken and approached closer, he was seized by the cat and torn into pieces.

Answer: the ablative case
feles or fēlēs (fēlēs) is a noun of the third declension meaning 'cat'.
The ablative is used to indicate movement away from something, removal, separation, source, so fele can mean "from, by or with a cat". I think.
So, seeing as Latin grammar has you all stumped, here's another one.
The Latin word 'edit' is a form of the verb edō (edō) (edo), edere, edī (edī) (edi), esum, meaning 'to eat'. Specifically, what form is 'edit'? Or, what does it mean?
Happy hunting
Some words repeated in brackets without the overlines on the vowels in case they don't work
