I dunno yet, but "There are still downtime issues; Twitter was offline for over 5 hours Monday according to Pingdom". And that was in 2007! That's all I'm getting so far.

Edit: it was actually down for over 5 hours during the first quarter of 2008.

I shall take a crack at 5 days and 23 hours. (If you say the answer is 6 days, you've over-relying on Wikipedia. )
