This question is for a personal thing as well as the quiz, I hope its an ok question.

I have eben searching for a book I read when I was a kid on the net but I cant remember the name of it.

What I do remember is that it was set in an Inner London school and the school had it's own security team as it was a bit rough.

I think the head of the security team was American.

All the schoolchildren in London get some kind of disease that causes them to attack adults and they kill loads of people....blah blah.

Theres a helicopter involved in a rescue near the end.....

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the book and would like to know it!

I think it was written in the 70s/80s and would come under the horror fiction genre......

I am thinking the head security guard was called Donovan or something......I think he had comeover from NYC.
