see I'm even using ''lol'' in a lot of my sentences 5 times I said ''lol'' and lmao so I'm cool LOL..

Lol you have to adjust your normal behavior or something ask me tomorrow night I will know what I'm talking about mate.

I believe he means that one must adjust one's normal behaviour when posting on the forum as bevaviour on the forums is not always parallel to behaviour in real life. Hence loads of, for example, "lol"s and s and that sort of clinical madness.

Ha, yeah, i still refuse to say lol, it just sounds too ridiculous when i say the sentence in my head. Smileys are cheesey too. Guess i better change my ways..... lol?

"lol" and smileys are a good way of getting across to people the WAY you intend to say your sentence. It adds emotion to the speech!

Take these for example...

"Andy, I hate you! " - You can tell I'm not being serious. Sarcastic even.

"Andy, I hate you! " - Now that looks a little different as I have an angry face portraying my anger (If you insinuate it that way)

And "lol" and "lmao" and "pmsl" are all way to get across that you find the passage highly amusing as I do now lmao!

I cannot live without these emoticons and phrases...

I had a little too much to drink last night yesterday even I mange to get to London to see my mates but they had to drive me back in my car lol!

So now its a 2 hour drive driving them back later on haha.
