Same old same old, Manchester United dig it out the furnace and then all the "fans" love to brag.

Amazing how many new "fans" you find when your team loses to them ain't it?

11 points ahead of 8th, possibly the way to look at it as a Villa fan now, top 7 will be in the Europa League next season

Yeah warney, Man Utd make me physically sick I knew it was gonna happen again in the last minute on Sunday, it seems to happen every time we play them (at least the times where we don't get hammered).

I have to live in Manchester too as a Villa fan and pretty much all of the oversea students at the Uni support Utd and give me stick over the results. The words "sheep" and "glory-hunters" spring to mind

Very baised views there lads and some ridiculous comments. Please explain how Man Utd make you "physically sick"? Because they have a huge fan base as they are a popular and successful club? Liverpool also grinded out a 1-0 win in a less entertaining match. I don't see anyone saying anything about them? Jealous or humble about Man Utd

Typical united response... Where liverpool 2-1 down at home to a superior team with 10 mins to go? Did Liverpool play so poor their performance warrented AT MOST a draw..Do any other teams get 5 mins of extra time?

That result would have made even a neutral sick to their core...who can say united deserved to win...only united fans..only a bunch of bandwagon glory hunters..

i love this typical ABU response from liverpool fans and "neutrals". iot is natural hate the pace setters and the most decorated team in the last 20 years, thus the unwarranted spiteful comments above.

of course ronaldo would be looking smug and posing after the game, he scored two wonder goals despite playing poorly, they came back from behind to regain top spot in the premiership despite not playing great and while missing 7 players.

when liverpool were playing absolutely terrible during the season during the season and gerrard scored twice to win them a game they didnt deserve liverpool fans were saying: "its a sign of a top team to win when your not playing well" but after united dominate the premieship, playing some of the best football the premiership has ever seen, and set a world record for the most time without conceeding, the hatred has built up and now they dont play great but show their class with three wonder goals and all the haters come out of the closet and as a United fan i must admit. . .

we are absolutlely loving it!!!

each bit of abuse makes us smile a little bit more!

liverpool for the premiership

your havin a laugh!

I guess I'm just too mature even beyond my years. I'd expect the above post to be made by a school child of about 13-14 ..."my team is better than yours na na na naa na"..but oh know its apparantly from a 21 year old. I had enough of that sorta rubbish when I was at school and won't take it now.

Football is the biggest sport in the UK, and as such I want to be able to sit, watch and enjoy competitive football of the highest class. Sadly, I no longer watch the Premiership as Man Utd are monopolising the trophies. It would be fair enough if their squad members were friendly lads that you'd go down the pub with, but unfortunately they are just a bunch of arrogant prima-donnas. Truth be told its the same with the top 4 teams in the Premiership, but I'd much rather see Liverpool take the title than Utd again *yawn*.

like i said, its natural to hate the best, look at phil taylor being boo-ed now at tournaments despite being the greatest ever.

if you dont watch the premiership then obviously you are not a fan of a team and wouldnt understand the passion/comradery between fans. this is what fans do, support their teams and talk trash about the others. . . its all part of the fun of it. so it may be hard for you to understand that, from being sickened by liverpools late goal saturday and looking like you are going to lose on sunday to pure elation. . . it kind of makes a 21 year old feel like a 14 year old.

and yes, my team is better than yours. . . na na na naa na

I haven't actually had a go at Manchester United as the team, I said it's about the "fans" that all of a sudden brag that their team beat ours again even though it's been like that for years. And it isn't like a tame bragging, it's boastful and stupid immature bragging.

And if you are honest with the game, we definately deserved a point from that game, unfortunately the youngster, Macheda scored a goal worthy of winning the game

And if you look at Liverpool's late win, they did deserve it, how many times did they hit the woodwork.

Just annoying being a Villa fan how we have let Arsenal back above us and haven't won in 8 games including that game against Stoke which is the most annoying of them all, felt like a defeat even though we drew.

Biased or not, still reckon we are the best team, give most to the community, best value for money, most home-grown talent in the Premiership, only Boro and West Ham can compete in that!

yeh i am actually a big villa fan, they seem to be everones favourite second team and they are definately mine. they have missed Laursen something fierce but carew seems to be getting back to his best which is very good for them. i can only see the getting a europa league place though at this stage, massive game next against everton, should be an absolute cracker!

Laursen seems a bargain at £3m, when we initially signed him 5 years ago in 2004, seemed a rip off price with all his injuries. Also a player who has won the Champions League.

Carew is better than Heskey in my opinion, we missed him a lot due to lapdancing clubs and hurting his back. lol

Good news is that Freddie Bouma should be back for the Everton game and if it is anything like at Goodison, should be good and a nice ending, brilliant game for us in the end

Everton 0-1 ASTON VILLA (Sidwell 1) - fastest goal in the Premiership this season
EVERTON 1-1 Aston Villa (Lescott 30)
Everton 1-2 ASTON VILLA (Young 54)
EVERTON 2-2 Aston Villa (Lescott 90+3) - , thought we had thrown it away
Everton 2-3 ASTON VILLA (Young 90+4) - GET IN, doing it the hard way. lol

lol that was an amazing game, lescott went nuts when he scored his and their second only to get burned 2 mins later and concede the winner!

I'm an "anybody but United" kinda guy too, but I hate to admit that there is no other team like them for grinding out wins when they downright don't deserve to win a game. I knew once Ronaldo scored the equalizer that Unted would go on and win the game, if only Villa could have held on a bit longer things could have been so different in the run-in. As it is now, United really should win it, to put it mildly, unless Arsenal, among others, have something to say about it.

I sometimes wish my dad never brought me to see Orient beating Brighton 3-2 when I was 5, and brought me to see Arsenal or Chelsea or even Fulham when we were in London that time. As it is, I'm an Orient fan and don't know what it's like to win things and feel great about being the best team in England. One day though...
