What if you could call a ball by right-ckicking it, and call a pocket by right-clicking it? Good for 14.1, and would be handy over in snooker too.

Agreed - ball and pocket nominations wouldnt necessarily have to be such a big hassle.

You would have to integrate to personal settings (options) because like many others use right click to take my shot so i would have to use my left click for nominations, so we'll need the option of which side L or R we want to use to click.

You wouldn't... but the game would. Of course, no proper player smashes the rack anyway, so unless you really know what you're doing you wouldn't attempt it. But it would be the same: right-click on the ball and pocket.

I see the use in real life but come on, this is funkypool.

Probably a weak excuse but I use a laptop and sometimes its hard enough to get it in the right spot to shoot compared to the mouse. SO if I wanted a very precise shot with spin, it would eat into my time!!

just keep it simple. But if it was to be implemented down the track, I dont think that it should be priority.

If time is an issue, maybe 25 seconds instead of 20 as the standard would be sufficient...?

not in 14.1 sure the Fact that you cant pot 2 balls at once eliminates the "hit and hope" factor enough!

Bit harsh calling him spot keith but I agree it would add something different, fresh and new to the games (bringing back pro tournaments would be good too ).

If you can play in a 10 second speed tourny then I am sure you can play in a 20 second game with added nominating.

Now bringing back pro tourneys, there is a really great idea.

I would love to see pro games back this was a great game and made it harder and had different winners to the tourns list?

The calling of pockets is a waste of time, but the 8 ball pro tournies were good, and should have been kept. They were much more successful then stupid original is on snooker.

I dont like the idea of calling pockets it would take up alot of time and would be annoying right clicking on the ball and the pocket you want it to go in would make it a whole more complicated.

I hate it when people say it's a waste of time, it's a show of skill. If you aren't game enough don't say it's stupid just leave the thread alone. It wouldn't have to be standard, just as an option maybe? Like ranked or not ranked, same could be done for this i suppose.
