Which iPod do you have?
I have 1 iPod Touch a nano and a mini.

i have a cheap £10 one that fits on enough albums for the moment and when i want to change, i just delete and add different ones on and has an FM tuner too.
And i wont get beaten up and robbed for it neither

Same tids.

I have a 30 quid mp3 player that can hold all the songs i'd ever want to listen to, and more if need be.

I think Ipods are a waste of money.

I, like the majority of people i have ever met just use my phone, which is capable of storing as many songs as you like if you get a decent memory card

Agreed with dave that they are a waste of money, i can think of much better things to spend my cash on than another way of listening to music!

Phone here too. 8Gb memory card lets me listen to anything i want, watch TV shows, listen to radio, take photo's and videos, check email, surf the web etc.

Oh yeah, it can make phone calls too!

But thats going off topic. Despite the fact i dont like them either, iPods are extremely popular.

One of the biggest gripes many have with them is the way you're (almost, you can get around it) forced to use iTunes.

I wouldn't touch iTunes with a bargepole with a marigold glove on each end..

I bought one becuase i just thought wow watch movies hold all those songs !

I find I-tunes far superior to any other music organiser/player.

the only thing missing on ipods and itunes is a 'queue to play' feature. Like those Creative Zens used to have. i find the i-pods are less robust than most MP3's, certainly the most reliable I've encountered, best battery. I tried the sony walkman phone, didn't compare for me though.

it is a waste, in argos they have the Nano V3 4GB in silver and do u know how much that is??? well i'll tell u £98.97

i have a wharfedale FMP-205 4G, video (MTV format, software disk suplied) pics and mini SD slot as well as a built in batt, now in argos it normaly costs £99.99 but right now £59.99 but i got mine from a market for £35 brand new. i don't waste money.

No i wont because its not hidden when i use it, everyone can see its a cheap crappy £10 from tescos version

i also AGREE with spinners theory about using something that forces me to use a perticular software.

Do you use multiple software applications for your mp3 player? If not then what's the matter in only using iTunes for iPods?

The only poor think I find with iTunes is the bloody AAC files which can't be converted in to other players. So I suppose if that was your argument for being against iPods then I'd agree but being tied down to one software application is not a disadvantage in my view.

im not anti i-pod i just feel that for my requirements a £10 mp3 player from tescos does what i need it to do...thats all

cant justify the cost of an i pod ( even the cheapest one) when fundamentally all it does is store and play digital music files like all mp3 players do

Haha when the first iPod came out it was priceless so damn good a gadget must have and look it was made in 2001 and look 7 years on 2008 we have an iPod Touch nobody would not even buy the first iPod now technology has changed so fast what would the next iPod be?

iTunes is only good if you have mac but also iTunes you can buy music online and many free stuff apps podcast videos and music check it out.

Movies,music videos,games, Songs

But can you do that on a MP3 ? NO !
