Anyone who isn't convinced Bolivia ripped apart Argentina 6-1, watch this...

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cwkQdD-bzMY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cwkQdD-bzMY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Probably the worst Argentian defending you will ever see. The marking in particular was suicidal.

! Very impressed by Stephen Hunt, and Richard Dunne was brilliant as ever

I think hunt should have got man of the match......Taking noting away from Dunne...But my god Paul McShane's defending was down right awful!!!

And Keane at the end nearly won it for us!!!

I'm happy

Think we're all very satisfied with the draw considering the time we equalised but it's always a case with what could have been for us last night! Still i'm more pleased with the much improved performance!

Still in the mix!

I thought Dunne was outstanding. Was always a coin flip between him and Hunt...I thought one or two of Hunt's set-pieces were average, particularly in the first half when we were all over them and had good dead-ball positions. Other than that he was brilliant. But Dunne outclassed arguably the most influential Italian player of the 2006 World Cup (Iaquinta)

With a scoreline of 6-1, I would hazard a guess that Colocinni may have been involved

Asian teams are close to qualifying at the moment - are there any team in other continents that are fairly close to qualifying??

Couple of Europeans who you could say are virtually through...Spain for sure, Holland, England and Germany looking likely too. The rest are still fairly tight though, all that matters is group 8

if ireland had won in the end i would have won 4000 euro on a 50euro bet
still delighted with the draw though! ireland did diserve the win, they were by far the better side!

Thought I'd bump this back up.

So far, six countries have qualified for the 2010 World Cup. By this time next week, a few more teams will be there, and by the end of November, all 32 teams should be decided.

Current Qualifiers:

Asia:

Australia
Japan
North Korea
South Korea

Europe:

Netherlands

Africa:

South Africa (hosts)

They moved from the oceania to the asian section - best move the socceroos have ever done!

It came down to that is was harder for australia to qualifiy for the oceania section, because they would have to play a south american team in the last stage, so Frank Lowy our soccer dude, went to FIFA asking for a switch and Blatter agreed!

yeah, 23 undefeated matches, but still we made ireland look stupid, have had good results of late

and without a solid back line we were terrible, and i hate bresciano so much omg

wish scotty macdonald would start scoring.

also saw brazil beat argentina 3-1,
denmark draw 1-1 with portugal
paraguy beat bolivia (i think)
