The one thing i find that's missing is why isn't there a sound to tell you its your turn? Like a beep, jingle or something lol... Anything would nice because I;m usually doing other things and sometimes forget it's my turn until the last seconds counter

I just think theres alot of players that don't like playing us8 and prefer UK so why not have the option, may be easy but funky(thought id drop that in there)....

How about making it harder by instead of having ANY ball to pot. You have to pot: red, yellow, red, yellow and so on. But keep the black as it is in US rules.

is this the section for ideas you think you might have for cool things on funkypool? well i hope so, cos here i go. i think there should be a 16 plus chatroom, either without moderators or loosened rules...so that you could say "are you a le***an?" without being wanred or booted and so on. but if someone starts being abusive with the relaxed rules, they get booted. so even though the rules are slightly relaxed there would be hopefully no arguing, and if there was an offender doing so, they could be banned from the relaxed room for a week or something so they would learn that they had to earn the privelage (sorry im not good at spelling) of being allowed a little more freedom. its just an idea but i hope it happens because i think quite a few people would prefer it and then the older ones wouldnt have to put up with the younger ones trying to act hard...i've had that some 12 year old started mouthing off and its annoying and it also ruins any conversation you were having
btw...you could call it the bar or something that implies its for older ones only...thanx for listening, hope this is the right place to put this x x

I will be picky and pull apart your post.

1) This is a FAMILY website. There are already dedicated *adult* chat websites. Things like your sexual orientation shouldn't really have a place on a pool website altogether.

2) Age restrictions are all very well, but are so easily abused!! Anyone can lie about their age as over the internet there really isnt any form of formal identification.
I'm 16, yet you have to be 21 to gain access to a beer website under Australian law. I, therefore, created a new e-mail address with a fake birthday.
Funkypool has a drop down option for your age... It can be changed at any time.

3) The younger members have as much right on this website as you do. Some may act all "hard" but that's youth culture! Open up a PM if you want to chat privately! (Hence the name "Private Message").

4) We already have a "members bar".

5) How do you draw the line between being banned for being abusive in the "adult room" than perhaps talking rather more "dirty"? A relaxed rules room has to have relaxed rules on all fronts.

i never said that there would be any more "dirty" chat...that happens in the normal chat rooms anyways. i meant there would be a place that the older members could gather and talk about stuff...could be anything from politics to how college is going. and i put the "are you le***an?" comment in there because if your going to talk to someone possibly for a while...like if you became friends it might come up. youth culture??? im 16 and i dont go in the rooms chatting rubbish and swearing and picking fights on anyone and everyone, so its not the culture its the specific people, which hopefully would not be smart enough to realise you could change your age. and if they did realise that, i would be pretty easy to pick them out because they would be doing the swearing thing and starting on people again, which means we could boot them for abusing people...i have some logic, although i will admit this idea probably needs a lot more thought. and i meant like "the bar" as in pub bar or something that signifies thats its for the older members...maybe "The Club" then x
