No, because the light source is very very high in the air (14.5 metres in fact) so it doesn't change noticeably as the ball rolls across the table.

anyone else got black spots on thier orange???

I think the effect looks fantastic on the lighter colored balls, but when applied to darker balls, (green, purple) looks a bit like there's a hole in the table.

A very, very minor flaw in a fantastic update.

The only problem for me is that the balls have reduced in size. They were way bigger before the upgrade.

i also thought this alcoholic but was assured by nick that they are the same size

IMO, all such changes in such an "old" and established game should be made optional.

If the shadows of the balls could change when you hit them and miss that would be good...

In other words the patch of light is on the left had side of the ball you hit it and it is still on the left...

Is there now an 'edge' on the balls??
