Na in all seriousness, it has transformed from lil pieces of code with no layout to a decent looking website over the last two days.

I am waiting for stu to come online so we can set up all the individual stuff. You must bear in mind this website is still a work in progress. You will all be able to do certain things with the site but a lot of the recent hard work has gone into creating a good Admin Control Panel to keep the site runing smoothly.

There is plenty more to come as well. Over the next couple of days/weeks/months (i dunno how long it takes, im no coder) we will be adding player profiles to the site, that are very similar to funkypool but just for clan games, tournys etc.

Having spoken with nick, it seems he is happy with the competiveness this event is providing the site with, and there is a possibility of new clan features on www.funkypool.com in the (near?) future.

Again everyone bear with us, now i have the clans data i am preparing a template message for your captains to send out. This will find out who is entering what indivdual events so i can get that side of it ready.

Provided all captains get back to me quickly, and i have the opportunity to input the data asap, we will be starting thursday/friday. Bear in mind we will now be waiting for the 12 captains to message up to 12 people and get a reply and then send me a message back!

Season Two should be started by friday! TY

Many many questions about individual leagues.

Some genuinley good ones from an unexpected source as well

When i dreamt this up, i never expected this kind of response. Therefore some of my ideas have fell by the wayside while i dreamt up new ones.

warpath and _niall_ have made an astute observation that the individual leagues have a couple of unforeseen pitfalls.

One, if Itz enter all 12 to everything, there would be the problem of having a giant league that could only be solved by having every clan enter 12. I dont want to force it down peoples throats like, so that wont happen.

Two, You cant play clanmates or youll just lose 5-4 and gain 9 points each time...

The best solution would appear to be restricting the number of people per clan who can enter each league to 4.

I will send out a new message explaining that you can enter a max of 4 people per indivdual league.

this is the best way i can see to work it all out and keep it fair.

HOW THE LEAGUES WORK IN THE GRAND SCHEME

Race to 5 means you can earn 5 points per game.

You have an indivdual table that shows how you are doing in the league.
There is also a clan table for each league. This shows the combined scores of all your clan kin that league.

Then there will be a clan table for all 3 game types combined.

Plus a clan table combining the main clan league with the individual scores.

Okay myself and mike just had a lengthy discussion over some tea and crumpets, and we have come to a fantastic conclusion to the format of the event, and mike is now preparing an idiot-proof message to be sent to all captains outlining what is required from them...and soon!

The leagues are seperate to the main clan event but running alongside, say like carling cup fa cup european cup but in different game types obviously

All leagues will have four representitives from each clan and when a player plays for example mmt vs warpath uk8 mmt may win 5-4 these points get added to the league then when all leagues finished we add all up to form the overall, i think!

All your clan captains will have messages now, and will send them on to you. It's good to have involvement from other clans too, as opposed to just one or two. If you have any PARTICULAR questions about anything, come ask me, madmike, mich or warpath, and we will try answer any questions you may have
