Thought it was about time something in here got done properly so we are setting up proper clans for pool.

The event is being hosted by me, mich and 1uke.

The layout is fairly simple. We want (to begin with) 4 clans to play in a league format.

Each clan must have a captain and 5 other players.

Each clan plays the other clan once to begin with. Each team member plays one game with a member from the other side.

Each team captain will have to give his side squad numbers. The team captain is no.1 and the captain has to decide how important he thinks each player is to the clan. He rates them accordingly, from 2-6.

The players then play the person with the corresponding number from the other clans. Hopefully this way, we will see some good games between evenly matched players, with a fair outcome at the end.

After the first 3 games are played you will have played one person from each other clan. You will then get graded on your performance in those games.

Your grade will assign your importance to the team so far, and will place you between 1-6. This number will then be your squad number for the following three games.

So for example-

4 Clans enter. Team Mich, Team MMT, Team 1uke and Team Alex.

at the start the 4 team captains are no.1 and so play each other

The other 5 players on their team are graded.
eg. Team mich is mich, niall, meeko, mich2, niall2, meeko2.

mich is no.1 and he grades niall 2 meeko 3 mich2 4 and so on. They then play the corresponding person in the other clan.

Nobody will know what number they are at the start, team captains send me the ratings and i assign the fixtures without anyone knowing what number they are, bar the captains.

(by the way games are race to 3 at 8US and 8UK and race to 4 at US9)

For the teams the score is 6-8 and that is the points total for the team in that game.

individually though you are scored for your garde for the next 3 games. this works a bit different.

You get a point per frame you win and a point for winning. But if you lose you lose 2 points.

for the 3-0 win for me at 8us id get a point per frame and a point for the win so 4 points. mich would get 0 points for the frames and lose 2 ponits for the loss so hed have -2.

so

us8 -2 - 4
uk8 4 - -1
us9 1 - 5

total mich gets 3 points and i get 8.

its simple really, just hard for me to explain

Anyway you know the game types, the race to number, how the scoring system works etc.

We want 4 clans, though we could make it two divisions if more were intrested.

The team captain finds a clan and sorts it out.

If you miss a fixture then me, mich and luke will decide the result based on who between the 3 of us we have seen on the most.

You will get a message on the day of the fixtures with your game.

There are a few rules though to the clans.

Each Clan must have a captain.

Each Clan must have a name.

Each clan must have a team picture. This must be displayed either on your user picture or on your profile. This shows your commitment to the clan and helps spread the word to other people who dont use the forums yet!

You have a week to play your game. If you are having problems finding your opponent let us know asap.

You can only swap people in and out of clans at each 3 game break. Even if someone gets banned so choose your clan carefully!

sounds like this could actually work unlike that other ridiculous elite spectical.

ill definately enter,if i cant get our usual group together then id gladly join someone elses team if they have room.
