The reason i made this thread is because i reading the dedications thread and i saw a reply saying "thankz"

Now some people would say oh no big deal?
But surely moving your finger not even a centimetre on your qwerty keyboard to put the s and spell it correctly wont kill you!

Which got me thinking... What are the youth of today actually doing in school, all you ever hear about todays youth is murders or crime!

Okay im only 18 but i did actually listen in school and got good grades and now training to become an accountant, it wasnt that hard all you need is concentration. So why cant school kids put 6 hours a day for 5 days a week and get a good job good house good life instead of pretending to be bad and "gangster like"

Surely if we found a way to solve their attitudes it would also bring a big slash in crime too.

do you see me doing this?

It may not be you doing it but a lot of the youth today do.

Personally I think the youth of today is no worse than that of the 70s. I just think a bigger media light is shone.

As for spelling and punctuation. Again it's just a youth thing to do. I'm sure they know how to type 'proper' English.

I think it would be unfair to stable every horse in the same barn...............

(But point understood and taken)

Again, I think it is all about public image, Kids want to appear "cool" in the eyes of others through peer pressure and what have you, but they have no idea of the consequences!!

For this, I think the governments should spend some money on trying to teach the youth of the problems the face in their later lives if they spend 10 yrs of their life banged up in prison.

It's no fun having to live lives in fear, and quoting again from the bible "Treat others how you would like to be treated yourself"

What goes around comes around, and when these youths are 40 and are getting chased down by the next generation of youths, then maybe they would have thought better of doing it when they are younger.

They will then pass this onto their kids, who will pass it on to their kids etc.

Improvising as I type this lol, maybe this is a cycle! We are just going through the rough patch, and maybe parents will make kids more aware and so youth crime decreases.

Just an optimistic thought.

It's society's fault, along with peer pressure, that is mostly to blame.

But how can you say that the parents aren't to blame? Surely some of the blame must rest on their shoulders. It's their responsibility to know where and what their children are up to, and some parents just neglect that

There was a news story about a father turning in his own son because he found a handgun with live ammunition... Surely if every parent did that, we would have a safe world!

Ok, they should be more strict maybe but you cant blame them for what their kids do outside can you?
Lets be honest, no parent can watch their kids 24/7.
