Today i logged into hotmail, and what did i see
A lovely poem via email, and especially for me

A very touching letter, brought a tear to my eye
And as i read it got better, here i'll tell you why

It was from someone special, that ive known a while
And as the tears subsided my face it grew a smile

They'd been thinking of me, may of not been much
Was certainly enough tho, for them to get in touch

In poem they spoke of old days, we had shared online
They was in fact the closest, funkypool mate of mine

At one time way back when, on this very here site
This person and i, we would chat, way into the night

As memories danced around, well it made me see
Just how much i valued, what he meant to me

Everyone knew this person, he left his funky mark
Posting on the forums, he certainly had a spark

The Booze Cruise was his ship, the captain it was he
The poem thread was our fave, posting for ppl to see

Some you may not know him, he's been gone a while
But he's still in touch with me, still he makes me smile

He's the reason this poem thread, i will never let die
I made that promise to him, when to pool he said goodbye

Let me end this tale of mine, let me make it clearer

Its the end of term,
Lets all celebrate,
Leaving primary school behind me,
And secondary what is so great!

Poems on poems,
Pages all stacked,
As the season has came again,
What all the others lacked.

Goodbye primary,
Its time to move on,
Going through the years,
And jus moving along.

I will miss some of my friends,
But making them arent hard,
Just gifts and presents will do the trick,
Or even just a card!

Im 11 years old, I wrote a poem about moving on from primary school to secondary school.
