Ive just spent a good 15 mins scrolling through the forum pages and realised there hasnt been a thread about the top pool players for a very long time . and there is a lot of new players that are acheiveing a lot .

so i would like for you all to post your top 10 players

now there is many styles on this game .. so you can do a top 10 for Uk , Us , 9ball , overall ...

or make 1 generally for the poolsite and say which style they are from . nd maybe why :D

Hope you all think hard about your 10 top 10 . many players do take this as a sign of approval of being good/great players on the site . also dont forget the oldies :P

ladysapphire (pulls off amazing shots to put her in a position for a clearance)

cityfan84 (Much like ladysapphire)

sharkgeetee (obliterates me all the time in the early morning finals)

allornothing (Just a quality player with an excellent funkypool mind. Unstoppable at times)

bastilha (Not played much before June but seen his name around the top and I can't beat him, never get a chance.)

dublindude (just a class player, best 8-ball US player on the site at this time, imo.)

janmb ( A great tactician and on top of that he is very good at eveything else.)

smithbit (I have not played him for a while, but from when I did he was and probably still is the best overall player by far.)

hotcoles ( A very good 8-ball UK player, played him a few times and he is definitely right up there with the best on the site.)

_talented_ ( Maybe the latest smithbit? He is of a very high standard on all types.)

That is just a random order, not number 1 to number 10. Also it is only based on people I have played

Top 10, in no particular order,

quick_pot: tourney wins are colossal.

cityfan84: real consistent.

smithbit: best player ever on here and thats fact, 920 overall is amazing and will never be surpassed.

ex_champ: pure class, always tough to beat.

bastilha: unreal 9 ball rank.

onua: doesnt play much, however the best 8 ball UK player in the pasy year, always won the tourneys he entered.

_niallo_: unreal at 8 ball UK and with his run outs, great overall.

_marc_: i guess.

madmiketyson: very good player.

ab_rfc: very good player

_slick_ - hard to beat in tourney

ex_champ - very sharp

sharkgeetee - im becoming crap when i play him lol

Ok rn no particular order: davyb1, great tactician, ancientram, great all-round game, magic_stick, great potter, rarely gives second chances, although can be tempremental, danny777, _steven_ and onua, three of the best uk players ive seen, quick_pot for the collossal tourney wins, cityfan84, unstoppable when on form, __talented__ another player that when on form is invincible, and ex_champ just a quality all round player.

i reckon i should be in the top10 am too gd to face lol

No the players constantly change niall.....i think your wrong here.......you would have been in a top ten a long time ago but since you returned you look a shadow of your former self! Ya know, your not bad but you need to improve your ratios a little.


I think mich_is_back is one of the top players on here right now. But your so shortsighted that you cant see a complete newcomer like mich_is_back who a couple of months ago had never played pool could break into the top ten of peoples lists.

Lists are vital if society is to structure itself properly!

Why would the top 10 constantly change? It's not like there's constantly new people coming along, it's the same people all the time.

Its phenomenal to people like me and you pal- for niall its rubbish. On one old account he had over 100 uk run outs that he got in 3 days! so you understand why his standards are slipping?

niall- its not the same people, its just the same computers.....the library is a popular pool hall nowadays!
