nicknax, to join any network game you need the following things..

hamachi downloaded..

active msn..

got to have fm08 game with the latest patch downloaded to make it up to date..

be on regular like me, tom, madmike and sporting..

if you cant make a session, what happens is the people in tha game, for example, me, tom, mike, and sporting are online and your not, we will carry on playing as normal, but you do end up losing possible transfer days etc etc..

so its in your interests to be online whenever possible to make a success of your team..

edit: if you download hamachi, and the latest patch, which is version 8.02, should find it on google, and you give me you msn addy in a a message, then i cant see why not, but please note we are half way through pre-season, with about a month of transfer window left..

ok then latest update,..

nick is in the game, which makes it 5 people in total, no more will be added from now on in please note, nick has chosen his side which is portsmouth, and is happy with his team, he is aware of the set times, and the situation that if he misses a set time, the game will continue no matter what..

The problem is I have loads of assignments to be handed in by next Thursday, so even when I'm online I am usually working.

lmao i feel your pain, i can understand sporting with his assignments, but all i keep thinking was yesterday we lost 3 good possible playing hours mann, let hope that everyone is online for the set times, because we will be advancing on those and at pace too..

Last night finally saw pre-season over and done with, while I'm still active in the trasnfer part, with 30 Million left to spend, but the last action of last night was the first Premier League game. And of course, I lost... Went 2-0 down to Fulham in the first half, losing Martins & Butt to injury, with Fulham scoring their 2nd goal after 49 minutes, when there was only supposed to be 1 minute added time!

I then pulled it back to 2-2, only for them to get an 85th minute winner.

Other results:

Aston Villa 1-1 Arsenal
Man City 1-0 West Ham
Chelsea 3-1 Portsmouth

And I don't know what the Wolves score was, but I do remember Danny moaning about losing

my lastest update..

i got to play my first league game of the season after a very tight pre-season, i have signed the majority of players that were on my shortlist, so i am happy overall with the transfers part of the game, my first league game up til end of first half was going great, i was battering bristol city and leading 1-0, second half we were fairly even, but some how they got two goals from no where against run of play, so that part of game slightly disapointing start to the season, but im confident in turning it around..

This looks really good, maybe when you have inished your season, which by the looks of things will take ages, could I join?

lol will take a fair while aye lol, and i cant see why not when the time comes, people may drop out or watever, so never know mate

I have signed a few players though. From memory i have got Colocinni from deportivo for about 11 million, two young romanian wonderkids ;), rodrigo palacio from boca for 9million or so.
also signed lulinha and a couple of others including a 14 year old centre back from gremio who doesnt join me til 2011!lol

I beat west ham on the opening day thanks to a bojinov strike and even had room for petrov to flop a penalty in the second half.
Predictabbly lucas neill was sent off for a dirty tackle 5 minutes from the end but a winning start!

Sorry about this, and I'm pretty gutted about it myself, but I'm not going to be able to play tonight, and don't know how long for.

My computer has become infected with viruses and I can't get the game installed on this one, therefore with my computer away being fixed, I am not going to be able to play. If you want, you can leave me on, with my assistant manager in charge, or you can sack my user, whichever is easier.
