There isn't really a best, it depends on what you want to do with it really.
Specialized, Giant, Kona and Trek have some pretty good bikes.
But then put them up against Curtis, Brooklyn Machine Works (BMW, makes sense eh?) and Nicolai and they're blown out of the water.
Its all down to the usage you want.

I'll get some pictures of the beast this weekend, after I've fitted my lovely KHE Minimalist Hollow Half-link chain and given her a wash. Shiney.
£30 well spent. Again .

A 50 mm shock?
I hope you mean 50 mm stroke and a rear shock.
Which'd make that almost definitely a 120mm ish frame.
Other wise, such a thing doesn't really exist.
Unless you go back a decade and a half.
Well, technically you can modify most forks to suit. But why lose the warranty.
What is it for?
Oh and I have no suspension spares at all, other than springs for my forks and some oil.
Plus it's all in bits and boxes ready to move.

I have a story...I call it "my latest runout"
So there I was, on the black...it was by no means an easy black, but not overly difficult either. I could feel the tension in the arena as i slid my finger down my touchpad and pushed it slowly forward, with a lil bit of backspin, nicely weighted...and to my relief the black disappeared into the black hole of the bottom left pocket.
Kinda reminded me of the first time I rode my bike

That was the first time i rode up a hill!
