I'm not trying to get to no1 in any rankings and i'm not looking for praise for a false rank. I have other accounts and I reach pro on them all and its by playing players of similar ability or above ... not ppl ranked in the 600's.

There's no rules saying you can't play people ranked lower than a specific rank and people complain that pro's never play them so it's good Carl plays them. You would however have a case if these matches against 720 players were fixed but I can assure you that results are checked and if they were fixed, he'd be banned and he hasn't so cheating isn't a factor in this.

War - If you do think cheating is involved here, don't hesitate to use 'Contact us' - Admin welcome such claims...

Just too finish my rant, if you are going to argue more - There's a nice feature called messages, use that! I for one don't want to see this!

Hunter I have never suggested cheating. I simply contributed my opinion to a thread. I realise there are various ways to climb the ranks and simply couldn't go overboard on congrats when Carl opted for the method that he has. End of!

As for what you want to see well like they say with TV you can always turn off if you dont like the views expressed

I always think playing and consistently beating adepts is a harder way of reaching the top than playing less games against equally ranked opposition.



If you think allornothing's rank is false then you clearly haven't played him much.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion I said congrats but just limited it cause it didnt seem to include a variety of opponents just those lower down. I would never dispute allornothings ability, though I'd love to watch a ranking round robin by the top ranked players 10 games vs each for instance.

Carl is a.....how shall i put this......ultra safe 8uk player and those methods work well against lower ranked players. I cant remember beating him many times.....

Definitely.

You risk a lot more by playing lower rank opponents, you also will on average find a lot more opponents who are playing a lot better than their rank (something you pretty much never find in the top segment at all)

congrats to allornothing, and to all those who are critising are pathetic and just jealous someone else is higher rank than yourselves, it still takes the wins to get the points, and a wins a win end of the day and doesnt matter how you get it or who you beat, so for all those who got nothing positive to say keep your thoughts to yourself, well done allornothing, top players have to beat all sorts end of the day
