Tidus really irritated me.

Can't beat Squall IMO.

My Yuna is awesome! I like using her Magus Sisters best.

Never played any of the other Final Fantasy's. I have X-2, but it's lame. Battles are timed, so you have no time to think. I've only actually played the game once.

X-2 was, in a word, awful. (In comparison to the others, in my opinion.)

VII and VIII are my two favourites, with VIII being my over all favourite.

Mainly because the characters, the story and the battles are the best.

I've always wanted to play the other ones, but I don't even know what systems they are on. I still play FF X to this day - I just found out how to get Break HP Limit for Tidus and Auron yesterday, lol.

FFX was alright, but it's became more 'main-stream' so that anyone can play, whereas the older games may not be suitable for younger people as they're just too difficult and time consuming.

VII and VIII are on the PSOne, they're from the late 90s I still have copies of both of them.

FFX can be time consuming if you really get into it On my main game i've racked up about 300 hours, sad as that is, i'm proud

Beaten all Dark Aeons *without* yojimbo and maxed all stats including luck on all characters, brother's the best at blitzball on the game too methinks, speshly at level 87

It was the first one I played so will always be my fave I think, bought 9, 10-2 and 12 since though, 9 was good but just stopped playing some point on the third disk and didn't get back into it, 10-2...played to death simply due to my love of FFX, was a bit of a let down although still not a bad game. 12 was very good but I dont have a TV at uni to play it on, so not finished it and not likely to either now

Oh dear, I spent so many hours playing Blitzball, it's so addictive!

As for the rest of the game it's not one that beckons me to root through my PSOne games and clock up another 100 hours on sadly

If you want a challenge, try beating FFX without using the sphere grid. It is possible, and there are even harder challenges out there.

And here I was, thinking I'd been all slick in thinking to recruit Brother onto my Blitzball team! He's at level 37 right now for me, but then, I spend most of my time killing the enemies in the Omega Dungeon and inside Sin to get leveled up. I think I'll probably stop playing after I get the sigil for Wakka's legendary weapon.

And speaking of, Lulu's just not gonna get her weapon, I'm afraid. You'd think, after the 130 hours I have into the game, I'd have learned some patience, but.... I just can't dodge those damn lighting bolts 200 times without throwing the controller.

I don't even have a PS1! I skipped from my Nintendo 64 right to the PS2 when it came out, and I still haven't upgraded to an XBOX or PS3.

How can you not have a PS1!?

Deary me!

They're about a tenner now though

But FF7 and 8 will still set you back around £20 - £25 - they're still expensive today.

Not over here in the US. You can get classic PS1 games for like $5. Not sure the conversion, but its pretty cheap here. N64 games are still pretty high though. It's almost $40 for Goldeneye 007 and Mario games

I'm not sure how much N64 games are over here, I know that Ocarina of Time on the GameCube is still £30 - £40 though.

Most PS1 games are really cheap here too, around £5 but I've seen Final Fantasy games still selling for around £20.
