3 men walk in too a hotel looking for a room for the night.
They ask the staff at the bar.
He says, "yes we have 1 3bedroomed room left, it will cost you £30 in total.
So the 3 men pay £10 each.
They go up to the room and get settled.
But then the staff realises he has over charged them men and that the room only costs £25 in total.
So he is about to giv the men £5 back.
But cannot figure out how to split £5 between 3 people. So the men in total have payed £9 each.
So he keeps £2 for himself and then gives the men £3 so that meens £1 each.
But when he adds the money together it comes up wrong.

3x9=27.

3 = the 3 men.
£9 = he money that the men payed for the room.

£27 + £2 = £29.

£2 = the £2 that the staff kept for himself

so were has the other £1 gone.

May look a bit complicated but cannot explain properly.

he need to give em a fiver back but instead gives them a quid each back

but theres 25 pound in the till still and if he gives them a pound each and keeps £2 then there is no missing pound?

just thinking about that again...

the lads paid £27...£25 to the till and £2 to ur man

so the riddle is flawed.. it should be £27 - £2 = £25

But i guess if it did, it wouldnt be a riddle, it just be a fact lol
