I tend to say it but sometimes people do generally forget. Its alot more fun when they pm you afterwards telling you how bad you are when you've just destroyed them lik 5-0.

i agree with misterchyme not saying gg makes u ignorant u just choose not to say it simple as i have played professinals who u think would say gg but haven't and i am not spaced by it i think u are a weak person if u are destroyed by two small letters

and just like i said on the last page, it is all a matter of choice...some players shake umpires hands at the end of a football game, other dont. It is all a matter of choice.

Misterchyme please try to read the full posting before answering, i asked a question ( should ignorant people have an ignorant option on the game so that people like me know not to bother with you? ). Instead of typing a 50 page essay you could have just said YES, its a lot easier.

p.s i work very hard for a living and dont spend all day in front of a pc therefore i dont get to play funkypool for too long. Somebody with 1048 posts should know better than to try and take the mick over something like pc time.

yeah i agree with you unlucky_al. something like this person does not chat through games.

i do most of the time say gg whatever the outcome apart from golden breaks and runouts thats when i say well done.

flukes happen i take bad with the good. though if i fluke and say sorry then they fluke and nothing the next time i fluke i dont say nothing but sometimes i will get a 'lol' from them or 'flukey' yet the same just happened with them? go figure!

yeah there are some pretty bad games that might not be good games but i stil say. what?? its a habbit lol!

but there are some very good games that ive enjoyed too and i will say that

yes...i have had some cracker games in tournamnets where its just blow for blow...then i say vgg (very gg)

Regarding the gg thing, doesn't bother me in the slightest if someone doesn't go gg. I mean if the game is genuinely awful with missed shots left, right and center then whoever says gg (probably) hasn't got a very good standard of game anyway and figured a close game (in which neither player could take the game by the scruff of the neck) as a close game and therefore a good game...? Or maybe I just came up with that just to say something

But seriously, ty after ul - can't figure it out. Wouldn't happen at a real pool table. I dunno why people type ty after I say ul if they're unlucky with shot. Overniceness and overpoliteness, a problem in itself. Politeness - good; overpoliteness - must be ruthlessly crushed!

I say gg after nearly every game unless the person Im playing is a complete arrogant, selfish, over-ego'd player...

I was thinking more of "ul - ty", which IMO is mushy.

there is a thing as over nice.. too polite.. its just over kill.. no one honestly says sorry for making a flukey shot in real life.. or as cloone said an ul.. then someone says ty.. its just fake.. its living in a world made out of marshmellows..
