Don't know if I'm seeing things but on arcade snooker, the spin works a lot better than over here on pool..

Why is this?

the tables faster

Well this is basically due to the fact that the clothes over on snooker are alot smoother than on pool, As you guys over here always seem to catch the clothe when using backsin which causes defects in the clothe.. resulting in poor spin.

No basically the reason for this is because arcade snooker is more of a fun game than snooke UK, Us 8 and US 9 ball, So to add more excitement they added that kind of spin (i think anyway).

It's a lot worse on snooker, no where near realistic.

could not agree more with colins the spin on snooker is far tooooooo fast

dunno if its jus the tables round here but i find that when i play snooker the table is faster than the pool tables so obviously the spin is faster

Maybe in real pool/snooker mike, but when programming the game I imagine that the spin value and speed value are separate values.

Certainly both snooker game's spin is way unrealistic, arcade more so though.

I prefer snookers spin but im a snooks, if this thread was on snooker more would like our spin, its what your used to at the end of the day...
