Im just wondering if it would be feasible to implement a system where by if a player gets logged out in a tournament say, due to internet problems,that they could forfeit the frame instead of a match, my internet is as reliable as...well...lets just say its not very reliable... anyway it has cost me two tournament finals in recent time and a semi today

good idea i lost a tourny final not a week ago by timing out cos of my connection.

It would be ace to be able to go back to the room and carry on a frame down

i like this idea, iv been lucky in 2 respects, firstly iv never had to leave a final because of internet problems and secondly have won a couple of torny's because my opponant had to leave room, not a nice way to win a torny

This would be a nice improvement.

If it's too awkward to re-write things so that the game "recognises" you re-entering the game, perhaps the option to re-send your tourney invite would work.

it isnt nice at all....that happened in a semi to me (winning due to a log out).

ok...i like this idea but say how long are we going to give for somebody to get back into a room?? Until the round times out I think.

you have a point there matey about the time ?, not sure how you can re-enter after round time is up surely will have to be done before the round time expires then your left with the 1 problem ? what happens is your both timed out due to the games not finishing, very unfair on the player who didnt get logged out due to internet problems

AFAIK, when the game times out due to a player not being there, that player gets DQ'ed for non-attendance and the other player goes through.
