the only reason i dislike xbox 360 is because their fail rate is so high.
i had 1 and it broke and 3 of my friends' broke 2 untill 1 of them poured guinness on it and it started working again,true story!

hi alone, when i was buying 1 i looked on ebay and found hundreds of cheap ps3's for sale, i looked for 1 local so i could pick it up but most were far away from me.. y dont you take a look on ebay and try find pick up only in your area im sure you will find 1.. most go for about £250 with a few games.

Finally forked out (reluctantly) 800 points to download, and I have to say it's absolutely amazing!

I'm not sure there is a release date for it yet (or if it's even been confirmed that it will be released, I could be wrong though but this is just what I've searched.)
It would be good if it was out sometime this year.

There are so many games out for the PS3 that just blow away the 360's games
Dead Space, Prince of Persia, Mirror's Edge, Little Big Planet, Assassin's Creed, Grand Theft Auto 4, Borderlands (supposed to have over 3,000,000 different weapons)
Just to name a few
And the games to come out
Infamous, Kingdom Hearts 3, Grand Turismo 5
But for the sake of arguing, the 360 has many, many games that i would buy.
Halo 3, Legendary, Saint's Row 2 (multi-platform), Gears Of War 2

Alot are multi-platform, but all im saying is that the PS3 has alot of good games out. The 360 has its equal share of major titles.

The 360 does have more exclusives over the PS3 - Left4Dead, Gears of War, Halo (Although I'm not a fan of Halo in the slightest)
(The PS3 does have exclusives but they're not as worthwhile in my opinion - with the exception of LBP)
But I think the PS3 is a better console and the online play is free (even if it is a tad shabbier than XBOX Live)
If both consoles had exactly the same games I think the PS3 would be better outright.
And the PS3 pads aren't overly huge either!

I had a playstation 1 and 2 then got the xbox 360 and i know what you mean about the huge joypads. But after afew days you dont notice it. And when you do play a PS3 the joypads seem alot more cheap and light.
Also regards to the exclusives i must say that i was gutted that Metal Gear Sold 4 wasnt gonna be on the 360. great series of games.

Ahh yes, I forgot about MGS4 - that's a game worth getting on the PS3
And yeah I know what you mean about getting used to the pads, a few of my friends have an Xbox so I've became acustomed to the largeness of them now

Tell me about it. The first game I ever played was Halo 3 on the XBOX at my boyfriend's cousin's house. What a huge change to get used to! Luckily all the boys were sympathetic towards my bad playing skills.... until they realized that I'm better with grenades than any weapon. No more mercy now.
But the controls are still hard to get used to - I can't really play any game except Halo on the 360. Just too difficult.
