I feel that if an account is left un used for a year it should be deleted becuase some people create acounts and never use them just for the sake of the acount being there.Becuase that can lesen's the variaty of names for new players to chose from i have seen some acounts that have not had had anyone on since 2004 and have never played a game

yeh but it isnt that easy, people may have moved or somthing yeh i know it doesnt take 1 year to move :| but they might not have the net back, so you cant go round deleting accounts because it isnt fair + the reason i said above, yes i know its annoying.. but maby nick can put an ip limit on so you can only make a maximum of 2 accounts per ip

Yeah I agree with King you can't delete somebodys hard work and effort it just isn't fair, didn't Magic_Stick not log on for a long time? And now he plays regulary...

Disagree, if I took a year off and my account got deleted I wouldn't be best pleased.

yeah i agreebut half of the accounts have never played a game befor some since 2004 like 1234

well you could make the time up to 2 years or get a request to make so they cant delete your acount becuase your going away

If, or perhaps when, the removal of old accounts is introduced, dont worry, i'm confident the option to "park" your account will be included.
Profile content is also important. Theres a huge difference between removing an account with only 10 games played that hasn't been used since a few days after it was created, and one like squeezy's if he were to be inactive for some reason.

It states in the terms of service that old accounts may be terminated without prior notice, so this can happen... Alothough I haven't witnessed it much.
Although I agree they should be, and a set time should be in order. Such as if you hadn't logged in, in a certain amount of time, your account would go into 'sleep' mode, and then eventually terminated, because I'm sure inactive users may clog the server, even if in a very small way.

but what about some of the best players on funkypool??
when players such as...i wont mention them on forum because im not alowed to say names...but when Vituso's decide to go, are we going to delete their account after a year??
sorry ghost, i disagree with you there. I feel that lewis has a great idea of Hibernation. If a player is inactive for 12 months or more, they still have their account but maybe they would have to re activate it.
oh yes....back from Holidays folks
