I enjoy the real ales too Tidnab, but rarely for a whole night. The outcome can be a little unpredictable!

For me its McEwans Export and black rum, though now we're approaching the festive there will be a few whiskey nights too.

oh goodness spinner, i wasnt meaning for a 'session' purely for quality rather than quantity consumption. If its a session beer then John smiths/worthingtons or boddingtons is good for that, followed by a wee dram of tiskaly or some other quality highland beverage to follow will suffice

As you lads know I love Whisky. Buchiladdich (wrong spelling but ne' mind) is nice, Balmenach is my fave so far though.

I try real ales when in the mood, although tend to drink any lager that I can get that's reasonably cheap.

I like a bit of cider in the summer, anyone else think Magners taste like Strongbow?

I used to drink Strongbow quite a bit...but now after one or two it starts to taste like cat wee...which puts me off.

Magners is yummy...speshly those big litre bottles you can get

Koppaberg (pear cider) is a nice treat when you can find it.

Hate all beers/lagers/ales etc. they taste disgusting

VKs (£1 each normaly ^_^) are always good if you're clubbing, but so is Vodka red bull (£1 too ) and SoCo and Coke which tastes of tutti frutti, Jack Daniels and Coke is also pretty good.

Starting to sound like an alcoholic now so I should stop...

Lidl's £6, 40% vodka is also good if you want to dance on top of a car on your way home from a party...good times

For beer, I'd say woodstock bourbon and cola.
