Who else hates them??

What's the point in a penny? no one want's them, we always throw them away. They are worthless.

Whenever you buy something, and a penny is the change, we usually throw it away or put it in a charity box...why have them?

All change should begin at 5, that way we won't have these annoying little round things building up in our pockets.

My Sister is scared of pennys =S Spent many hours amusing myself chasing her with a penny.

But I do agree nobody carries pennys about with them, Usually I just throw pennies on the floor if I get them in change.

Yes they are a waste of time. Instead of making items in shops £2.99 for example, it should be rounded up to £3.00.

Pennies only seem silly now due to inflation, when they used to be worth more people wouldn't throw them away so much

The UK will no doubt move to the Euro within the next 20 years so you wont have to worry about pennies any more...instead 1 cent pieces...which are smaller and far more annoying!

i dont suppose many of you younger people on here remember the 1/2p, when that was taken out of circulation the only loosers where the british public, things that where 99 and and half pence went up to a round pound, dont seem a lot but think of the millions of 1/2pences put on things on a daily basis

i just dash pennies and 2ps at people when im driving past or if im feelin really mean i save em up 4 a while and buy a pack of fags with them just to annoy the idiot in the corner shop
