I'm reluctant to throw you both out. I've added you both as friends to keep an eye on you; if I see you both online I'll invite you to play each other. It really shouldn't come to that; you should both be looking out for each other. If I feel that one of you refuses, I can play the other immediately as a semi-final.

But disqualify you both I will if I must.

So, seems as though world_class_, who hasn't logged in since 16:15 Tue 29/01/08, has a bye to the final, but we won't decide that unless the banned alex19933 doesn't show up in one shape or form, so we'll continue to include him in the draw for that reason. I know in other tournaments I've set up I said that banned or deleted players were out; not this time. I said so at the very bottom of page 12.

We're down to our last four games though, it seems; one quarter-final, two semis and a final. I see shaunbing has today logged in for the first time sicne Sunday :O, so he and ritcho are urged to play ASAP. The end is nigh!!!

You know something? That is a very, very good question. Have I ever done something like that in another tournament?

I did do it in the Irish Cup (UK 8 ball) as a desperation measure to ensure a final got played; I re-introduced the beateh semi-finalists, but still no games got played so I pulled the plus altogether. Leave it with me and I'll see; I mean there was nothing wrong with alex's win over you, y'know? Good point though, I'd rather have a willing player around than someone who might now get a bye to the final and then not turn up.

Aaaaaahahaha, cool_ryan has been banned too!!! Hilarious if only it were funny... ahem.

Of the 8 quarter-finalists, one has played and won, one has been beaten, two still haven't played yet... and on the other half of the draw one player hasn't logged on since January and the other three have been banned. Oh my!

Time has practically run out for ritcho and shaunbing who have to play each other in the last quarter-final.

I await the winner in the semi-final.

And world_class_ awaits the winning semi-finalist in the final, but he hasn't logged in since January.

I'm in the unusual position of possibly declaring myself champion due to the remaining players not playing their games.

Right, it's just occurred to me that it's been since Jan 22 that the quarter-final was to be played.

Absolute deadline: Thursday evening. As before, in the meantime if both are online and they don't play, they're both gone.

world_class_ looks like being unreliable so I'm feeling the urge to boot him too immediately then as well if he hasn't logged on by then.

My patience has completely elapsed.
