Right, I think that's enough, I'm ready to draw the teams into 3 groups of 4 players, and I shall do so at http://www.chatzy.com/422794745765 . If you want to enter you don't have much time left, or else you'll have to wait till next season...

The draw is about to happen. And because I'm nice, for a limited period only, I'll leave three places open. There'll be three groups of 4, with each group being a potential group of 5. For each new player that joins, they'll be randomly assigned a group by me (so that they can't choose their opponents, obviously.)

The three group winners will each play each other for the overall title.

Relegation
If enough players are interested in joining for Season 2 after this kicks off, some players may end up relegated. If you finish bottom or second bottom in your group, you may end up getting relegated. You may need to take part in play-offs to retain your status.

Penalties
Penalties for non-fulfillment of fixtures, deliberately posting wrong scores, failure to post scores, cheating, etc can be anything from a telling off to a disqualification.

No time limit yet - there will be one after enough time goes past and nothing happens. In fact, consider this your warning NOW. Don't get banned and don't delete, or you will not get to complete Season 1 and you will have to start Season 2 in the lowest division - if you get to take part again. All games are in UK 8 ball, first to 3.

Everyone plays every else in his/her group

The group winners playoff for the title

The bottom and (maybe second bottom) players in each group may end up getting relegated, if we have rnough players in Season 2 to form a second division.

Actually, the more I think about it, there may not be enough players to justify 10-player divisions, hmmm... Might shrink it to 5 or 6, but we'll see how it goes.
