This has probably been mentioned before, not sure though. It really annoys me when people say "gg" when the game isn't even over. I find this extremely off putting and ignorant. It happened to me quite alot this morning - at 1 point there were still 4 balls to be potted. What's your thoughts on this?

Well if it's an easy shot it dont really bother me, as i was against mike black was right in pocket nothing wrong with saying gg then.


But I hate it when say you have like 2 or 3 balls left and they jus say gg wp a few times in a row. To be honest i think they're trying to spam us or put us off..


One time in a 9 ball tournament he missed the red, and there was 6 balls remaining and he said 3 letters .. gg wp gl

Or, If they say gg wp.. jus answer back saying gg ul then they will shut up lol

Its perfectly natural for your oppenent to say ''good game'' half way through the game! As it might well be a good game!

and also what sam said if your high ranked they may expect you to win , but then again if your not i would jus say gg ul back and they will deffo be quiet lmao

Remember you can use the ignore user option on your opponents if you really dislike the fact that they say "gg ul"

If you are annoyed or put off as it were when an opponent says "gg" then simply either explain why you wish them not to say it, or simply just ignore the user while playing the game.

Then again just take it as a compliment that they believe you have the ability to win the game.

ive had this a lot in the time ive been here but then again ive lso had people accusing me of cheating which brings me to my next point, why arent newbies allowed to be good? when i was a newbie on us8 i had a rank of 786 and was constantly accused of cheating old accounts etc. so why cant a newbie naturally be good?

Usually when you first play a game, you arent a master of it.

Here on funkypool we have come to expect high ranked newbies to be previous users on a new or recently reset profile.

While a lot of people do it without realizing how utterly rude it is, which is to some degre excusable, but a lot of players do it deliberately as a strategic measure, which is most definitely not.

People ought to have their **baize**(MB) ripped off for being that lame.

This subject has come up a number of times. I think it's generally done through very poor sportsmanship. There's nothing we can do about it really, except ignore and pity.

I actually offered a solution to this a few months back, but for some reason it still hasn't been implemented
