Not watched it. Again I want too but it's getting the time (and money) to do it. I tend to borrow films from people and everyone I know woulodn't watch that film, although there's is a chance the History of Art dept at Leicester Uni might have a copy, shall have to see.....

Sounds alot like The Notebook, only The Notebook is about a hetrosexual couple, but still a great film. Almost made me cry.......

I watched Repo Men the other night, my god what a terrible film. Save yourselfs the time and don't bother.

Well the passion of Christ is about the last 12 hours or so of Jesus's life, I won't spoil the ending for you.

LOL.

LMAO!

If you like decent films and want to be amazed, watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey ACTING! Yes ACTING! And very good he was too!

Personally the best films I have ever seen are the Saw series, they're so mind twisting you really don't suspect what happens. I found that a really bit of genius scripting the whole story line amazes me - the games are so well played and have a unique twist in each one, has me hooked like a fish.

I've seen Eternal Sunshine, I don't really like Jim Carrey =/ so didn't really like the film.

If you find the time Lewis, have a look at Man on the Moon. Jim Carrey playing Andy Kaufman in his biopic. Might change your mind about him.

I like the Saw films too, except the 3rd, which dissapointed me. There wasn't the intricacy and detail the first two had, however the new one got it spot on again.

Mel Gibsons best film was The Passion Of Christ Imo.

Very interesting I found that, you seen it?

I love that film. It's a real masterpiece.

A real shame about Heath Ledger, from the trailers he has made an awesome job of assuming the role of the Joker.

However, only a few more days till RAMBO!

I shall rent Man on the Moon sometime then, wasn't Andy Kaufman a comedian? Would figure why Jim Carrey is playing him then.

Only film that matches Saw on that level is The Sixth Sense that scared the crap outta me when i first saw it.

Passion of Christ was so well portrayed its a shame the Vatican and other religious figureheads slated it so much.

Aye Heath Ledger has made an awesome job of being The Joker, he said in a interview before he died that he spent everyday in his hotel room to get him mentally prepared to play The Joker as it was so mentally absorbing - the biggest role of his career he said. Maybe just maybe the role was to big for him...

Pfft Rambo? Seriously how old is he now, he should be at least 80 odd. Sylvester Stallone is no spring chicken either. Really is in danger of being overkilled.

Sweeney Todd

Right, first thing's first, I hate musicals. Musicals are for theatre, they just don't work on screen for me.

The only reason I watched this was because I love the (possibly true?) story it's based on... oh yeah, and because of Tim Burton.

It was pleasantly surprising actually. I don't need to mention that the plot is brilliant, that goes without saying. The acting is solid, although I will say that none of the lead actors can sing (or the style is deliberate, take your pick), which doesn't really bode well for a musical. Personally though, I think the edginess of the vocals just adds to the atmosphere of the film - which happens to be dark and menacing. The cinematography is second to none, and just the right amount of blood is used.

I wouldn't describe this is gory though. If that's what you're looking for, see 'Slaughtered Vomit Dolls' instead (trailer is on YouTube, if I post it here it will just get deleted).

7/10 - Great film... shame it's a musical.

Haha. Go see it.

Or if you don't want to pay, there's a really high quality version of it on Youtube believe it or not. You wont find it by searching though cos it's called something different. Ask me if you want the link.

Roffles. Forgot about that. When you get to my age, you just assume everyone can get in.

The Water Horse is out soon, I think. You might get in to see that if you smile nicely to the cashier.

Just watched John Rambo, and i am impressed!

Very very good, for a Rambo film. And thats not sarcasm or a put-down. Nobody goes to see Rambo expecting intricate dialogue or breathtakingly beautiful scenery (though there is some)

Its an old favourite character doing what he does best, with a solid and hard hitting truth behind the simple and formulaic story.

It may be spectacular, and he may be a larger than life character, but the situation is very real. You may not get time to think much during the film, but you will afterwards.

Just got back from watching 'Vantage Point'.

It's a very clever and well made film, and the acting is top notch I'd recommend this to anyone

Saw 10,000 B.C a few days ago too, it's not as good as Vantage Point Different kind of film though I suppose. I just feel they could have done more with it.

Saw Rambo as well, the script in it makes me laugh, it's awful Still if you like watching people gettin shot, blown up and ripped apart this is one for you
