i only ever use the standard crosshair.

the only ever time i have needed to use the custom cursor is in the original snooker game as the crosshair is totally out of scale.

the option is "new", pretty sure it came in around the same time snooker was launched but maybe someone else can pinpoint it better.

the custom cursor was around before then there used to be a code what you had to put into the main chat box if it was done correctly no one could see the code you entered and on your screen it would say "custom cursor activated".
