Just wondering who uses the custom cursor option when they are taking their shots? I use it on the US tables but find it really annoying on the UK table so I have it turned off for this.

I go through a phase of using both, the UK one doesn't work for me...but it kinda works on the US games.

I have never used the custom cursor, it puts me off and i cant seem to get the angles right when i have it on.

It's the custom cursor for me.

I remember one guy who would use it to break, and then switch back to the standard crosshair for the remainder of the game!

sounds abit like ffcmike think he used to use the custom cursor to get all his golden breaks.

When i first joined i dont think the option was there for the custom cursor but im not sure??

lol.... older players cant do the circle.
most of the new players have the circle as default and thats what their used to.

i use the cross its better

I tend to think the circle is better, easier (for me anyway) to line up the angle I want

I think many older, er, ok, longer term players will be the same as myself.

On UK it has to be the old crosshair, but i like the custom cursor on the US games. You're right Steph, the option is "new", pretty sure it came in around the same time snooker was launched but maybe someone else can pinpoint it better.
