Can someone please clear up once and for all what the highest rank was on UK 8 ball. I hear 950 and all that. Since I signed up in Jan 06 the highest I ever seen was 930 odd, nothing near 950.

Also has the ranking system been changed since this 950 was supposed to have been reached?

pagulyan(danny) was the first person to ever reach 950 rank and no the ranking system hasn't changed at all.

Also Squeezy was close he got 940 plus at least once.

That's untrue.

Nick might have records of the highest recorded rank.

If I can recall correctly True_legend reached 935 and I have reached 932 I think. But nobody has reached 950.

Sorry Derp but you're wrong. It was may 2005 and pagulyan was top of the UK table with 951.

(If you have a look at game shouts from that time i would bet a fortune there will be threads about it, was the talk of the game at the time.)

The only change since then has been the daily deduction being extended down to 800 (from 850), which obviously makes no difference in this case.

Fair play to pagulyan though. Must of had plenty of time on his hands.. Awesome achivement.

It makes one hell of a difference actualy. It means the standard of 800+ players is higher. To get past 930, these are the guys u need to play!

So the challenge is much harder now than it used to be.

Also getting there doesn't mean u have a lot of time on your hands I went from 900ish to 940 in under 3 hours

The results were very suspect. The last 20 games he won ranked to his mates 10-0 a piece, and one of them was caught cheating in the past doing the same thing.

And then guess what? He deletes!! Sitting at number 1 with the highest score ever and he deletes...

In my book Squeezy has the highest ever Uk 8 ball rank with 943.1 ..

What I meant by alot of time on his hands was not the amount of time in games to attain the rank but how he must of been on constantly to get so good to achieve an awesome rank of 950.

Still, 950 is a great target. Kinda like 801 is for me

my worst day on funkypool in a very long time.....i think ive lost roughly 15 points in uk...in about 30mins......

I lost 80 in under 2 hours the once...that was fun
