hi, just thought i would create a thread on fishing, im a keen fisherman who goes most weekends, with the new season just started how bout recording your good catches on here. i started off last weekend with a 4 half pound tench folllowed up with a 5lb bream with some other fish but only small stuff.
please post your good catches on here plus the river or lake you caught them from

I want to catch a killer whale!

I used to go fishing regularly, fly and off piers. Once i come back off holiday on 29th july, i will probarbly hit the piers again for the mackerel season. Can't beat fishing for mackerel, few cans of the good stuff, some food, and it turns into a great day out. My worst fishing injury came when i was climbing over a fence to get to the pier, i slipped with a 3 way spinner in my mouth without the protective cover on and got it stuck in my hand

Went fishing on Narooma bay, Australia.
You guys need to google it, what a place to go. Caught a fair few fish, water was so clear which made it easier!

Yeh mate i strongly recommend it to anyone, not just for fishing, it's an amazing little place.

If you explore South East Australia like i did, this has to be on your to do list.

I used to go fishing a lot, and have a few beers etc.

Was a good laugh, then sort of grew out of it - but might go this summer its a day out like.

Used to go a lot but don't go as much recently. Only ever really caught a 2lb. Rainbow Trout! My dad goes a lot though and I went with him last weekend (He did the fishing I did the netting, lol) and we (He) got a rainbow and a brown, both exactly the same size and weight!

A few years ago when the whole family went once my brother had his first cast about halfway across the river and he was reeling in and we heard a scream, it turned out there was a salmon on, he caught it...9Lbs!

I aint been fishing in about 2 years now as there aint many nice places around Liverpool. However myt go night fishing through the summer somewhere. couple of crates of alcohol cant do any harm in 1 night by a lake fishing

except get you drunk.. make you miss your bites and will never catch the fish, AND the fact that when you do catch one, you'll be that drunk and useless it pulls you in.

i go fishing occsianlly... msinly for carp trout and breem, don't got much now, i used to go all the time when i was little with my dad and then i started to go night fishing ( got to drunk so never exactly fished)...

my best fish was 21 lb common carp last summer when on holiday, im not normally a carp fisherman but the small fish in the lake was eating everything so popped to shops big bag of boilies and carp fished all week, ended up with a 9 lb, 11 lb, 11 half lb, 2 at 15 lb and the 21 lb, not bad 4 someone who dont like carp fishing lol
