Hi, i've created this thread to help users have an extreme chance of getting golden breaks/run-outs.

Above, is a tip on how to get a golden break/run-out on 8 ball US, view the whole picture...

Step 1:Place your cue ball just off the middle little towards the left hand side.
Step 2: Make sure your spin is set to full top spin.
Step 3:Aim on the yellow ball exactly as it is shown in the picture and smash the balls with full power!

-Hopefully the chances of getting golden breaks/run-outs will increase(8 ball US only)

Step 1: Place your cue ball where the picture shows you, make sure you are very accurate when placing the cue ball next to the cushion, get it as close as possible.
Step 2: Make sure your spin is set to full top spin.
Step 3: Aim on the yellow ball exactly how it's shown on the picture above, and smash the yellow with full power!

-Hopefully the balls will move a lot, the chances of you getting a golden break/run-out will be extremely high, keep practicing, but don't give up!

-I'm not too familiar of how to get a golden break in 8 ball UK, you may have to ask someone more experienced with that nevertheless I can still help you through it but my way may not be so effective.

I've heard some people have tried the 8 ball US way i've written above and it doesnt give a good break, hmm interesting one, i'm sure it does work, works superb with me, maybe you just haven't placed it in the right position?

Hey I think some people are getting confused with 8 ball US, the cue ball in 8 ball US should be placed just off the center of the middle point, roughly 1 inch to the left, and take it from there(I'm not any golden break/run-out master, I can't guarantee you a golden break every break, but it will surely give you a nice break and a good chance of a golden break-run-out)

you are right you do have to be very accurate while doing this other wise the slight touch off could mess you up and not pot anyfin of break

yup thats right, you have to be extremely accurate, can't make any mistakes on your break!
