how about having a tournament for the best trickshot.

and you would have to type what you are going do so they dont think you didnt mean it.

but first we would have to get a trickshot practice table.

Don't think that would happen m8 as mods and admin are really busy (some times). Think the only way you could do that is between yourself and some mates. Just for fun though.

yer i used to play a 9 ball game where every shot had to be a combo. other games where all shots are doubles touch 2 cushions with white before hitting on ball we had many we done a game where you had to go for a snooker every shot (took about an hour a game lol on 9 ball)

No need to cap it. The tournaments we have now came about from suggestions on the forums so who knows!

Hmmmm....... i like this idea, i think more thought needs to go into it.

I'd like to see this work, maybe something along the lines of golf, each game has it so you have to perform a trickshot and you get a point for pulling it off. What do you think?

Its really not that far removed from golf.

Simply have a set ball (or balls) that have to be potted, have them set up in various ways and you have to try to make the shot.

Unlike golf you only get one shot at each, over say 20 different shots, play on your own or against others, with tables kept like the golf ones.

yes and you have to say what you are about to do so they will not think it is a fluke

would maybe be a little tournament or big tournament every week? or fortnight.

yes a mod or 1-3 mods whatever would see your shot and would maybe rank it out of 5? and as other tournaments would say everyones rank

first round the people who got a one would get knocked out and so on until there is maybe two people left and they would have to perform 3 shots and make them a success

And on your profile there would be a section saying Trickshots

and say like Tournament wins 1,2,3,4,5...
and semi finals reached 1,2,3,4,5..

that is about it really

What spinner is saying is what i more or less meant, i'd like to see this either on this site or snooker. Although i think snooker would appreciate it more, they need all the help they can get!
(Just in case someone from snooker takes offence, i'm joking!)

There is no need for "judging" bunrzybhoy - with a trickshot you either get it, or you dont.

Hence why i said, its like golf, but you only get one shot.

In this way, it could work well.

I only suggested snooker (careful John!) as it would provide a different fun game for that site.

The same template as golf could be used with minor tweaks.

As far as I'm concerned, getting rid of pro tables in favour of golf and trickshots is pretty much the worst possible direction this site could have gone in!
