Anyone else having any probs when they log in? If its not this happening, its the screen staying white with a red X in the top left corner and states POOLAPPLET NOTINATED ?? Im having to Log off and on lots before i can enter game. Any advice? Thanks.

hmm tough one but what java do you use ? to find this out log in and go to options and look at the top it should tell you there.oh and paula a suggest you update your java.

EDIT: looked at pic again and its obviously IE, is it internet explorer 6 though? looks like it.. and well done for changing Windows XP to make the performance better than appearance, i always do it when im on a windows pc.

it sure looks like the IE6 logo and not IE7, try upgrading to internet explorer 7 or try the latest version of another browser, (firefox/opera are probably the best other 2).

I've just been logged out in my last two tournaments. In the last one I was on the practice table and the count started (ie 1/8, 2/8 etc) and I ended up getting logged out so I closed the window and opened it again and after struggling for a bit I eventually managed to log in but I had no invite to the semi even though I was being told to quickly take it.

Basically if I hit refresh on the website page and the page doesn't load then I restart my wireless (even though the rest of the internet works) and i start responding again. However if I refresh the main page and it does refresh, once the count gets to 5/8 I always get logged out and it's happened a few times since friday.

That is quote from Nick from a previous thread, but I've got a feeling you know what that is.

This has happened to me. oddly enough shut down of the computer, then switching it back on does the job.

Regarding the origional query; I see it says javascript is disabled, this is different from the java language the game runs on.

You can find the option to enable it in tools/options/advanced.

The loss of connection issue seems to be (judging by the PM's ive had recently) mostly affecting AOL and Tiscali users.

I'm on Tiscali, and it happens quite often, the simplest solution which has worked 100% of the time for me is to simply disconnect, then reconnect to the ISP. (Leaving the game window open obviously)
