No it isn't, golden break is potting the black off break.. not potting all 7 balls and also the black is it?
ANNOUCNMENT: Rank_doctor just potted the black on a 7balling break!!
EDIT: please read the game rules and dont make pointless threads

well golden breaks are a skill that take ages to figure out, so i just think when you do one you shouldbe rewarded for it somehow, if not with a 7blling then maybe double points given to u on ranking but not double points lost for the victim

Well its not a pointless thread as he asked a question.
Obviously, its not a 7 balling, since all the balls haven't been potted, but i think you're confusing a 7 balling with a runout.
On 9ball, a GB is pretty much the same as a runout, but not on any other game.
Either way, its a stat to itself and thats why its not counted with any other.

A GB is nothing like a 7 balling.
A 7 balling means that you have potted SEVEN BALLS straight or something like that.
A golden break is where you only have to pot ONE ball which is the 8 ball or in the case of 9 ball, the 9 ball.
You are noted for golden breaks, just look at my 9 ball profile!!

on a brighter note though........ if you get a runout only potting your colour it is also classed as a 7balling so you do get the 2 stats. However, a golden break is completely seperate as the black goes down first.
hope this helps

A golden break is completley different, as mentioned above, a golden break is just potting the black, but all the other balls are still on the table, therefore its called a golden break because you have potted the black off the break, if you say a golden break should be classed as a seven balling that would mean, if you break and pot all seven balls, including the black, that should be a golden break? I do not think so
That would be a 'seven-balling' or a 'run-out'(depending on your opponent been given a chance to pot or not)...Different things.
I hope this has made your life easier.

It is dam near impossible for the two to happen in the same game, so in answer to your question, No.
