why is it that everyone has to snooker nowadays its getting really really boring and stupid i mean its alright if u dont have a clear shot or whatever but come on and stop being pansys about it play pool..ending my rant...

yea..its not that fun...i sometimes do it, but on accident..i dont have the brains/skills to do it on purpose..oh well

Are you talking ranked games? I dont play that much but im assuming if your in a ranked game or tourny and about to lose then ppl will snooker you!!!...i know i wud... IF i was any good at it.

With the practice, its real easy. I only do it when i realy have to but thats only ever in the quarter or semi fianls!!

Because you lose when they do it? I admire snookerer's! I played one at 9 ball, and he won because of his snookers, although he was a big headed git too, and that was annoying.

i lose fine without snookering lol thats my point i mean if u dont have to why do it..

It's a tactic just as any other way of playing is. If someone said you could not pot a ball that was on it would annoy you, i.e. the choice of what shot you should play is up to you. Try practising how to get out of them rather than complaining about them. However much you complain they wont go away therefore the underlying point is your going to have to deal as they are going nowhere.

Do understand you Paula and I agree that some people use snooker at stupid times which could be classed as wrong, however it is a personal choice as to what shot someone plays and snookers are not against the rules of proper pool nor funkypool. Therefore if you dont like the players style avoid playing them, I have to agree wit a player that tells me quite a lot that they like bein put into snookers as it makes the game more challenging. When it come down to basics its only a game and should only be considered as fun so dont get too caught up on what shots get played.

snookering is possibly the classiest style of play. it takes a lot to snooker and knowing you can achieve 3 in a row is great for confidence and really uplifting to your game and as there is no law saying you cant i find it perfectly good. however i still dont think there is enough people using this tactic in their game.

All part of the game, and if you don't like it then you shouldn't be playing.

There have been loads of flukey snookers lately, I must admit I have done loads but I didn't mean to do any..

Its just the balls take too long to slow down or stop but its more of a challenge! Thats what this game is about challenges!!

Its so common now that when people snooker you they say "Sorry m8" or whatever.

I always congratulate them!

The main time is use "ns" is when my opponent snookers me. Its nice to have more fun than just "what ball will i pot next".

however people decide to play the game is perfectly acceptable but the down side to that is some people say "play the game fair without keep resorting to snookers"which can be annoying because some people like to have a tactical game.
