i used to love playing 9ball pro but its now died can we all fight to bring it back !!!

it's a shame to see the pro games deteriorate so fast but i think there should be more pro tournaments because everytime there's a tournament most people enter them and hopefully then they would start to play the pro games more often.

Trouble is that you just can't force them back into popularity.

People prefer the new games, so it's unlikely many would be happy about losing tournament slots to the pro games.

It's tough to get a non-tournament 9ball pro game nowadays. Best to resort to asking if anyone wants a game in the chat room, because you can wait ages in a created game otherwise.

i think we should scrap the 9ball pro and 8ball pro...and with all the people that have got pro in them add an extra 50 rank points to there scores so say if i had over 800 in 8ball pro and 700 in 9ball pro...i get an extra 50 rank on 8ball and nothing on 9ball?

yes that suggestion would be good but us that like the pro games and r still newbs wouldnt be too happy

I disagree on getting rid of the pro games i much prefer these games, alot harder than the others.

It's a shame hardly anyone plays them anymore, plus i've won 194 tournaments in the pro games so what would happen with them if the pro games went

no no no, dont get rid of the 9 ball pro games. i'm not on here often, but when i am thats one of my favorite tournaments and friendlies to play. although the pro games have lost popularity i think there are still many old timers who love playing it. there's really no advantage to scrapping them all together. i don't think there's much harm in keeping them

well play it more often then! For new users like me its very hard to get a game of 9 and 8 ball pro apart from tourney games which dont give you points. i think for winning in those games you need more points to be awarded or I'll never be able to get my rank up.

I always look out for a game, I actually prefer them but there never seems to be 1 around. Either more people start playing it, or scrap them because I'm never going to be able to get to pro in all of them if it stays this way

well those wins and tournament wins could be kept, but just the rank removed so that the overall scored are more likely to change and easier for newish players like me to get pro in all games.

I know it's been mentioned so many times before but having ranked tournies could solve the problem of this overall rank depleting, I mean if you added rank only for the 8ball pro n 9ball pro games wouldn't it bring more players back into the game knowing they had something to play for (rank) but at the same time to win a tourny.. just an idea.

What does this tell you? That you've got to be good to play well on them and appreciate them and surely the site wants to keep the better players happy.

If you don't like them then don't play on them, simple as that. Go back to the easy table where you look better.

well said and why exactly should we get rid of the pro games personally i think the pro games are the best out of all the games and also there's going to be a time when nick decides to make a decision whether to be made if he decides to keep them than that's great news but if he doesn't then i will be sad to see these great games gone.

But I just don't see why people make a point of trying to get them removed. I mean I never play uk 8 ball but you don't see me going around saying "I don't like uk 8 ball, it should be removed".

I really hope Nick in his wisdom does what I suggested ages ago and take the uk 8 ball from the hourly schedule and have it's own schedule say a tournament every 2 hours, and then with an hourly game of US pool without the uk interrupting the schedule you could have a mixture of the following:

8 ball speed
9 ball speed
8 ball normal
9 ball normal
8 ball first to 3
9 ball first to 3
8 ball pro normal
9 ball pro normal
8 ball pro first to 3
9 ball pro first to 3

I agree with this! I like the pro games as much as anyone, they are far more challenging. I don't want to see them go but it is very difficult to get a ranked game on them as there simply aren't enough people who want to play them. It is becoming more and more difficult to get a game which isn't beneficial for newbies looking to improve their rank
