I'm trying to fix an animation problem that occurs on some setups, where the animation is jerky.
This certainly does the trick for the machines I can get my hands on, and I can't see any faults at the moment.
If you don't notice any difference don't worry, not all users will.
If you do have problems or prefer this version please also let me know. Also if you can post your system details (ie Operating System and Java version) it's helpful.
Please have a try (login will not work).

31 fps means frames per second. This is the current animation rate.
That will of course be hidden if here is patched.

The spin has improved, i felt like it was a lot more responsive.
But...
I thought the moving balls stopped a bit too quickly. (they step to a stop if you know what i mean)

Updated slightly, UK Pool is selectable, and the frame rate removed. Try a refresh to see the latest.

Like it nick, everything is a bit more smooth, like giving the ol' wood a bit of wet and dry. Anyway i think this is an improvement and i didnt find anything wrong when i was playing.

It seems fine untill the balls are settling to a slower speed then they seem to stutter forward, giving a "wobbling" effect. Maybe the framerate could be a fraction higher? Or maybe its my gammy eyes o.0

Nope your eyes are fine, i'm seeing the same Domi. If more than a couple of balls are slowing together there is a slight "stutter" effect.
Other than that fine.
Java 1.1.4
Win 2000
Edit to update :
Completely smooth on higher spec machine (probably expected)
Vista
Java :1.5.11

I found the break was an awful lot smoother, tested on two computers:
Dell with XP
Custom built with Linux Ubuntu.
Both with latest Java.
EDIT: for me funnily it seemed the balls ran on a little longer but at a more realistic consistent pace. Though It looks and feels nicer I would worry it would slow down game-play

To spinner and domin8trix:
Do you only see this stuttering effect with the demo? Is the current live game smoother?
Edited: Very poorly phrased!
