The last I heard, Nick said within the next few months, providing nothing more pressing cropped up to delay release.

oh but what about the younger people of this site who do not have access to a credit card.
am 19 and i never want a credit card.
i would think mobile phone would be good just text premium to a certain number and hey presto you get reply with your premium code.
also would be alot safer

do you have to pay to be a premium user?
i think it should be people who only signed up after premium has come out that have to pay! but people who are already members before premium comes out shouldnt have to pay!

why should they ? think of the amount of money that would be lost due to that happening the site doesnt run on fresh air there is 80,000 users registered to this site thats alot of money lost.
they need some form of revenue in order to keep it running at the moment by advertising for other site etc they will be sponsering the site. when the premium does eventually come out there will be no adverts that means it wont be finaced by other sites therfore users will have to pay to use the premium and to help keep the site running

I'm thinking a tenner a year would be reasonable and revenue generating. Looking at the bullet points in the "advert" it doesn't look particularly "mega"!

Up to 100 friends - don't care

Absolutely no in game adverts - already sorted

More fun while practicing, helpful layouts etc - don't particularly need and certainly wouldn't pay for

Automatically keeps score of accumulative wins and losses verses your friends - would be interesting if this means every single player, but if it means just people you've added as friends then don't care!

Monthly prize tournaments - good idea but this should be on an entry fee basis and not paid for by subscribers who don't take part

Knowledge that you support Funkypool - fair enough I'll do it

Seriously I'm all for paying a subscription if it means paying towards a better server that can handle more traffic and more tournaments and doesn't throw you out as often, and maybe if it lets you choose table cloth and ball colour and things like that.

But if all you is what was listed then I think I'll pass.

From what i've seen on other sites, the payment methods used are credit/debit cards or paypal. Only seen the payment of ordering over the phone once and that is on a popular site. I do understand that younger people don't have a credit/debit card and thier mum and Dad won't give them there's to pay, but it might be thier loss, but there might be a payment method that suits them. I won't have trouble paying as i have a debit card. Interesting what the payment methods will be.

I would like to pay with a bag of human hair and 3 packs of pork scratchings, where do I sign up?

Also I dont feel that an annual subscription should be used. Monthly would be better. This is partialy due to me not having enough hair to fill 12 bags which would pay for the year.
